Our Story
WabOS was born from a simple observation: millions of African entrepreneurs were running thriving businesses through WhatsApp, but they were doing it manually. Every order, every payment, every customer interaction required constant attention.
We knew there had to be a better way. A way that preserved the personal touch of WhatsApp while adding the power of modern business software.
In 2024, we set out to build that solution. Starting in Zambia, we talked to hundreds of business owners – from food vendors to fashion boutiques, from delivery services to home goods stores. We listened to their challenges and built WabOS to solve them.
Today, we're proud to serve over 1,000 businesses across Zambia, processing millions of kwacha in transactions every month, and helping entrepreneurs build sustainable, scalable businesses.
